Founded by Jeanne B. Tassis in 1999, the Circle of Hope Lymphedema Foundation, Inc, is an organization dedicated to promoting education, awareness, research, assistance, and support to lymphedema patients and their doctors. This foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational and scientific purposes within the meaning of 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The following activities are planned to be carried out through the Corporation's operations:

Assist persons afflicted with Lymphedema by finding medical treatment, supplies, and information for the disease.

Provide medical information on training to persons interested in obtaining expertise in the diagnosis, treatment and research of the disease Lymphedema.

Create and maintain an Advisory Committee and membership of persons possessing special knowledge, training and expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and research of the disease Lymphedema.

Provide training to persons interested in obtaining expertise in the diagnosis, treatment and research of the disease Lymphedema.

Establish a treatment center in the future for persons afflicted with Lymphedema.

Solicit funds from the general public and governmental units to implement the Corporation's purpose and activities.
